Love - Family connection & taking time out to enjoy the simple things in life...the things that really matter.
Any photographer will tell you the importance of great light! To me light is also the light within us, the possibilities!

We loaded up the car early this morning & went down to Coolangatta to watch Will & Jesse's Uncle Dean competing in the Coolangatta Gold (A gruelling 46km race including Surf Ski Paddling, Running, Swimming & Board Paddling). This was our refreshment stop/bribe for a photo op :-).
Dean finished in 7th place in the over 40's!!
All the excitement took it out of Will who went for his afternoon nap at 4pm & slept right through.

My very first post...

Janine Coveney Photography has been launched and is very much a passion, addiction, work in progress. I have dared to feel the fear and do it anyway!
Planted the seed and am watching it grow & feel that something wonderful is blossoming...is that cheesy??? Oh well, it is true.
I will be posting images here as I go on my photographic journey - my style is...ever evolving but based on one vital component - Capturing moments of connection, family, friendship...your life.  Customised, natural light family portraiture - relaxed & friendly sessions at a location of the client's choice. (No cookie cutter poses & props). 
Finding the essence of my subject and catching it for that moment to produce an image that my client will be proud to display in their home is what I strive for.
