MB Family Session

Yesterday I joined the MB Family up at the Spit on the Gold Coast for their family shoot.
I have never worked with a large family so it was extra exciting for me. Had been looking forward to it all week.  Kept my fingers crossed the weather would hold - which it did!
What a great family! Jx

Pizza!

We had the most scrumptious lunch yesterday in Murwillumbah at Flamingoe's Cafe in the main street.  Just happened to have the camera on the table as our lunch arrived.  Got chatting with the lovely Manager who mentioned she wanted an image of their Pizza for the front window.  I had to be fast...it didn't last long.  Jx

couldn't resist adding this one...

Family shoot...

We had our very first family photo shoot today with our new friend and fellow photographer, Amy.  After a huge day out & about we actually managed to arrive pretty much on time with everyone dressed appropriately & wearing a smile.  Bindi threw a Spanner in the works when she launched an attack on the local Swans & Ducks about two minutes into the session! Feathers flew as we wrangled the Dog out of the pond and promptly tied her to a tree for the duration of our shoot :-/...oh well, we did get a couple of shots with her included.  We can't wait to see the images, thank you so much Amy!  You kept things chilled & relaxed & you were really great with Will.
Speaking of Will, here he is yesterday helping his little brother out of the swing at our local park...so sweet.  Now I must dash & go wash the Duck Poo off my dress.

Funny Face.

Will loves pulling the funniest faces at the moment which can make for a very cute shot.  One to pull out at the 21st party for sure :-)

Jesse & Bindi

Here is a sweet image of Jesse & Bindi. I am forever grateful to her for her tolerance & love she gives to the boys. Not quite as grateful today to discover she chewed up Drew's lunch bag she found on the outdoor table...did a thorough job on it too :-/. She is looking very svelte & stylish with her annual Summer hair cut..all shaved except for head & tail. Will post an image in Flickr tomorrow when I have finished playing with the new L series lens (24-70mm 2.8)...very excited about this one.

Puddle Tuesday.

It's been a huge week already & it's only Tuesday! I must admit I have been burning the candle at both ends a little too much lately. When it's all getting a bit much around here we usually duck out in search of some open space & fresh air. I couldn't resist taking the camera with us yesterday. Will was happy to play & let me shoot away. He even wanted to try a few different things to get some great puddle shots.
Bring on the rain I say :-)

The Way

I picked this little beauty up at the Finders Keepers Markets in Brisbane last Sunday. It reminds me that I am finding my way & also of my amazing experience in the Eye Candy "Evolve" Workshop.
It was so lovely to meet up with Sheye, Fran, Rowe & Marissa - I could have stayed & shopped & chatted the afternoon away but Jesse had other plans.
