Mini Sessions!! Why book a 'mini' session you ask?

Why:  Mini sessions rock! They are great for past clients looking to get some recent
images of their children without the fuss of a full session. They are perfect for new
clients to ‘try’ the service out and see if they’d like a full session at a later date.
They are short, fast & fun :-)
Available dates are:

Sunday February 21st & 28th
Sunday March 14th & 21st

WHAT:  A 'mini' session lasts between 20-30 minutes.
The session can take place at your home or at a location of your choice -
i.e. Your local park or beach.
You will receive a disc containing a minimum of 5 low resolution images -
(Great for web viewing & emailing to friends & family but not suitable for printing).
You will also receive one professional print size 5x7 -  Of your choice!

INVESTMENT: Mini sessions cost $50 per time slot.
A week or two after the session you will receive your disc of images.
Please email me or phone for more details.
There is a package available with a discount applied or you may order
from the 'a la carte' print menu.

WHO: These 'mini' sessions are available for children from 5 months of age through to adults.
Mini sessions are not suitable for newborns or for maternity/pregnancy photography -
(unless it’s a pregnant mum ‘with’ her children).
Up to 4 people may be included in each session and all must be of the
same immediate family. If you have a larger family or would like more
children photographed you are able to book 2 time slots one after the
other at $50 per time slot (and you will get an extra 5×7 print).

BOOK:  email me or phone to secure your session time.
Session fees are payable upon booking.

iheart faces "We are family" challenge...Top Ten!

Wow, so many wonderful entries in the challenge!
I am thrilled to have been listed among the top ten...congrats to everyone! xo
you can check them out here:

I had the pleasure of meeting baby "I" yesterday.  This knitted blanket was her Mother's when
she was a baby.  I just love it when special items are included in portraits.
Welcome to the world little one! xo

Family is like Fudge, mostly sweet...with a few nuts :-)
Family is on my mind this week as the world witnesses the tragic loss of so much life in Haiti.
I knew instantly that this light hearted moment shared was the image I wanted to enter in
the iheart faces challenge.
Appreciate your family this week where ever you are and live in the present moment xo

Baby "O"

I am thinking that this wee cherub couldn't possibly be any cuter?!
What do you think? :-)

2/52 Our sparkly eyed boy...

Today he was extra hilarious and so entertaining.  Pretend telephone discussions to imaginary
Police threatening legal action if he is not given dessert tonight! :-) Bless him xo
P.S I am doing a Project 52 which is one photo per week.  Not restricting myself to any particular
theme, although you may see the kids included a fair bit...I can't help it! :-)

What is out there?

Happy New Year! I have been slacking in the blogging department, mainly due to the crazy festive season.
We had a low key Christmas this year, a couple of major hiccups in the camping & weather department but otherwise just great to spend some holiday time together.
Have been pondering about the strength of family connection & Love since going to see "The Lovely Bones" last night. It left me feeling the same intense emotion I got from reading the book. It was also visually astounding & worth the admission just for the cinematography. I am Peter Jackson's new number one fan.
I love this moment captured of Jesse, staring out the window into the world.
Wishing everybody a healthy & happy 2010! I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of exciting projects.

Jx
