project 52 {8/52}

It's hard to believe that our wee cherub is going to be turning 1 this Saturday! The first year has flown by in a blur.
We will celebrate this momentous event with a little party at home and a Cake Smash photo session...pretty sure he will be keen.

Baby "M" sneak peek...

This is baby "M".  How adorable is he?!  A complete natural in front of the camera too.
His Mum and Dad are completely in love with him - as am I ♥

Baby "I" Sneak Peek Part II {Why book a newborn session early?}

This is sweet baby "I".  I had the pleasure of photographing her about a month ago now...I'm sure she has changed so much since that day.  If you are thinking of having your newborn photographed, the ideal time to do it is when they are between 6-10 days old.  That way, you have had some quiet family time together & those baby milk pimples have not yet arrived.

That newborn sleepy stage won't last long, so in order to ensure a session date, please contact me while you are still pregnant.  I can schedule a booking close to your due date (This helps me arrange my schedule).
Once you are home from the hospital, we can arrange a suitable date that works for everyone.

One day this blissful time will be a sweet blur. Those late nights and 3 hour sleep/feed/change cycles are gone before you know it.
I love to capture special newborn moments with Mum/Dad/siblings in these early days, they change so fast & will never look the same again.
I come to you & the session is very relaxed.  I allow lots of extra time for feeding, settling and changing.  The baby rules here!

Took this pic of a New Zealand Fern while waiting for the boys to finish
their swim in the hot water creek.  The creek is actually named "Kerosene Creek" and
is located just out of Rotorua in the North Island.
It was running hot on this particular day and they looked part cooked when they finally emerged!

Baby "A" Sneak Peek

How wonderful are babies? This wonderful...

Thank you so much to the "K" family for welcoming me into your
home to capture these sweet moments.

project 52 - 6/52

A little bit of nature with a hint of texture...
I love these weeds & I am so thankful for the rain that has turned
everything green again ♥

project 52 - 5/52

Our sweet boy is going to be turning 1 in a couple of weeks!
I could rave for pages about how wonderful he is.
Just see for yourself...

This image was taken at the 11 month mark -  the day he really
got confident with pulling himself up to standing.
We love you sweet Jesse ♥

Does anybody actually read this?

Ok, so I realise that my blog is lacking a little in the high quality post department.
I have been wondering lately just who has the time or inclination to read it anyway! I hardly
have the time to post on it :-/
So don't be surprised if it is fairly quiet around here from time to time.  I assure you I have
loads of other things keeping me extremely busy...namely, the two little guys below.
I do love the idea of blogging and enjoy browsing other photography blogs when I have
a spare moment...usually around midnight!
You may or may not know that my website was launched this week! I am pretty excited about
having a more professional site up and running with the option of password protected galleries for
my client's to view and purchase their images.
Thanks to all who are featured ♥
P.S - I am totally behind in my Project 52 so will be catching up with that before the week is
out & posting images here.
This was taken today in not the best light so excuse the noisy image...I still quite like it.
