monday april 4, 2011 - gold coast family photography

right before these pics were taken, we were at the doctor's office.  he had a 'foreign body' too deep in his heel for me to get to (o.k, i cheated a little because i knew the doc would be quicker and i wouldn't be inflicting the pain).  the nurse wrapped him in a sheet with his arms at his side, then laid him on his tummy.  he looked like a baby seal.  of course he didn't understand what was happening.  there was panic and tears.  it was all over in a few seconds and he was back to himself.  lollipops are magical.
he breaks my heart.

GoMA - 21st Century: Art in the first decade.

the first thing i asked myself was "why have we not been here before today?".  a must see exhibition for young and old-er.  just a perfect day, catching up with a lovely 'photographer friend' (private joke).
